Today was the big day! finished up floor shift linkage and bolted up bumper waited an hour for family to get home then took her out! she ran beautifuly after engine rebuild! Thanks again!

Spent all day driving it around town turing heads stoping here and there showing it off, great day. Love it, running headers right into cherry bombs but isnt to loud, not as much as i thought it would be. only thing that i had to fix was fuel pump, fixed it by hitting it with a wrench after fixing the wires and still not working. Then went to check oil, dipstick broke off with part still in engine. Not being able to pull it out, i had to drop oil pan and knock it out from behind but wasnt to bad, probly a good thing so i could change oil, new oil drain plug and make sure all bolts are tight from the build. Over all, great day! Thanks again everyone! All the older gentlemen that came up to me would be like, man.. a maverick.. never thought anyone would rebuild those. then go off on their story
