I'm finally gonna run the Grabber at Woodburn Dragstrip (www.woodburndragstrip.com ) weekend. Hopefully, I'll be there Saturday and Sunday, but it may be Sunday only. Anyone else gonna be there? Mike?
Yes I will be there but wont be racing, I will represent Mavericks in the car show. I couldnt take getting beat by my old car racing. LOL I will cheer you on though and give you some pointers if you need them.They usually have at least one Thunderbolt take a few trips down the track and for several years Dyno Dons Maverick has made some runs also. So all you Maverickers and Cometeers come on down. Dearborn Classics sponsors the car show they are a supplier of Falcon,Fairlane,Galaxie,Torino parts no Mustangs parts they dont like Mustangs. Last year I was the only Mav/Comet(70s era) there I had tons of votes(right ins) but there was no class for me to be entered in so no award, I am hoping this year they will have a class for at least other Fords Saturday will be just a test and tune day and Junior Dragster day
Brian just checked out the video, had a little fun huh. Also had a friend of mine report that he saw my car in Aloha at a cruise in but I was not around anywhere, I informed him that it was because it wasnt my car anymore, he was really bummed until I told him I was putting a stroker motor in my blue car then he said I guess its okay then. Should get motor by the end of the month but wont be ready this year as I have some other modifactions to do as well
