nice ride and welcome. yes there are times i think we all would wish that our cars would fix themselves. course that would take away all that satisfaction of finally getting it right... until the next time.

Welcome to the board, you'll love it here.

Very nice car, and I love the color. I was going to paint my next Mav that color but now I'll get accused of being a copycat! lol

How about more pics of the car???

    Sam :)

i live in wilmington. its like right between cinci and dayton. i tell u what, the car isnt as clean as it looks. it needs alot of body work done to it cause in the 6 years i have owned it it has started to fall apart. of course she makes sure i am constantly paying attention to her. some of the things that have happened! i cant believe she still kept running. ok this is what the ad had in it when i bought the car. 73 maverick grabber, 302 v8 , automatic hurst floor shifter. bucket seats, 380 posi trac, holly 4 barrel double pumper. things i have found out since i have owned it . . . c-4 tranny, 9 inch rearend, bore size060, rod bearing size 10. of course i could give u the whole history of the car. i am the 3rd owner. the first 2 owners never threw any thing out. they kept every single receipt. have the original sales slip from NOV. 13 1972. and i also have paperwork on the cam that was put in it that i just dont have a clue how to read, bunches of #'s and what not. just from some of the repairs i have had to make i know the engine is the original. hmm i really dont know what else to say, lol more about the car in here then me. but i guess thats the way it usually goes :slap:

sam u can paint your car any color u want(y) i wont call u a copy cat. thats not the color i am gonna keep the car. i use to live in cali and i saw the coolest paint job. it was blue and light silver/blue metal flake. and it had light blue and silver ghost flames that looked like they moved as u drove down the street. i am so wanting to do the same to my car but i want my car to be the gold metal flake with silver and gold ghost flames that look like they are moving:bananaman

hrt; go to the main site, and go to the MCCI link. On the site, go to Calendar of Events, and read about the Roundup, held in New Castle, Indiana every year. You are fairly close, and it would be a lot of fun for you. The dates and other info are in the site. Take care,

    Earl

Welcome aboard, neighbor. There's a lot more of us here in the East these days. Anything we can do, just shout. I tried to say hi to you on maverickcomet.com the other night, but I guess you were away from the computer or something.

Go to maverickcometclub.org to see the details of the Roundup and to get a membership application. We'd love to have you aboard.
