Decoding my engine casting numbers

    FOUND THESE CASTING NUMBERS ON MY ENGINE, TRYING TO FIND OUT WHAT VEHICLE IT CAME FROM, D4AE-6015-AA8. JUST A LITTLE HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED.:cry:

    351 block?

    If I'm looking at this right, 351 from a full size car, model years from 75-80, 6 bolt bellhousing. Look in the front left of the block, (that would be to your right when looking at the front of the block) for a date code stamped into the block.

    Thank you Eric for the help,yes it is a 351w. Ironically my younger brother's name is Eric Johnson. I appreciate the help.
