My dad got a 75 comet sedan from a friend for me. Everything runs well and both the tranny engine and carb were re built prior to my aquisition of the car along with lots of other work. I have a 250 CID engine in it everything inside is original... I would like any tips on souping up the car sound system interior restoration etc...
With a 250 engine the best way to improve fuel economy is a proper tune up. Plugs, air filter, fuel filter, oil and filter, proper inflation of tires and easy on the gas pedal.
Hi everyone, well my 1974 comet 302 just died after running great, i stomped on it and the distributor plate sheared at the vacumn advance. Oh well after 35 years i say i got my money out of it. rebuilt unit on order.Frank
Ok thank you and thank you other guys as well! =] I was also wondering if you think swapping the automatic tranny for a manual would be wise or worth it? And if so what kind of tranny I have a wide selection of junkyards and people who would have the tools
