My dad got a 75 comet sedan from a friend for me. Everything runs well and both the tranny engine and carb were re built prior to my aquisition of the car along with lots of other work. I have a 250 CID engine in it everything inside is original... I would like any tips on souping up the car sound system interior restoration etc...

With a 250 engine the best way to improve fuel economy is a proper tune up. Plugs, air filter, fuel filter, oil and filter, proper inflation of tires and easy on the gas pedal.:)

I was also wondering if you think swapping the automatic tranny for a manual would be wise or worth it? And if so what kind of tranny I have a wide selection of junkyards and people who would have the tools
