Has anyone written a "book" on splicing the wiring harnesses from an EFI 5.0 with the original? Or could anyone that has done this swap advise me on what I will need to do to complete this? My son has a 1971 Maverick that we are working on swaping in a 1991 5.0 Mustang motor with a 5 speed standard. We are looking for a super clean outcome with a factory or better look. Your advise and help is greatly appreciated.

there are a lot of threads about this topic... a quick search would supply loads of information

what im doing is modifying a stock harness to fit my application (i.e. battery location, electric fan, etc.)

basically just do it how you need it... there quite a few places to get full diagram and anything you need

good luck with the swap :thumbs2:

check out Ford Fuel Injection. Good info there if you need to do some wire splicing, pin outs, etc.

EDIT: joe beat me to it.

    Great Help!

Wow, that is what I am looking for. The fordfuelinjection site is great and will no doubt help me walk through the swap. My hope is to splice the used harness and save the $500 plus. My biggest doubt is adding in the car's harness - we will tackle it! Thanks for the great help.
