made a trip down to the local Junkyard and came back w/out anything but a sad story...before i left i went and let the workers know i didnt have any parts and then one of the guys says, "hey we had two mavericks come in last week, one of them looked just like yours except it was yellow and then there was a red one..." then i asked what they did with them and he said they crushed them i'm gonna have nightmares tonight lol. i'll i've been thinking about is how easily i could pay back my dad if i got the Grabber Spoiler, Grabber Hood, Highback bucket seats, deluxe Door Panels, Floor Shift, 302 and lots of other parts... i always fall just short of getting the maverick load 1st time: was gonna get some parts off some mavericks and comets again and then the guy tells us, we crushed them them, 1 small bumper comet and 4 mavericks! 2nd time: got a phone number from some guy who's brother had two v8 floor shift mav's. called him and he said they already crushed them 3rd time: TODAY!!!! ... ...
What you do is get some business cards made up and spread them around to the local salvage yards and bulletin boards in super markets and connivence stores. Also hand them out to anyone who even mentions the word Maverick. Also, when I see a Maverick or Comet, I hand one to the owner or, if they are not around, I put one under their wiper. I made this one up and print them out on my computer.
thats what the workers say. Good idea Mavaholic! i told them, any maverick that comes in, put it in the yard and i'll make it worth not crushing
