Should I make my car a replica of Rauol Duke's in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas?

After noticing that the main character in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas' car is a ford maverick I have been debating whether or not I should try to make a movie replica. In the movie his car was a light blue with a crappy white hood and some primer and stuff on the side. I know my car would look like crap, but it would be an interesting conversation piece. I think it would be cool to have a car made up to look just like one in one of my favorite movies. I was also thinking that I could get the personalized license plate "gonzo" since the main character in the movie was a "gonzo journalist". What do you guys think? I need some opinions.

Neat idea, but I don't think many people would get it.
