I just came back from a cruise night in Milton Ontario and the place was packed. The weather was beautiful and sunny, but the best thing was my little Maverick surprise. At this cruise night there is only cars but this night there was a guy who had brought his pickup truck that he had emptied out with a bunch of old classic car parts. I took a look thinking there was not anything that i would be all that interested in when lo' and behold there before me on the ground was a '71 Maverick grill complete with the center Maverick badge. It is in really good shape with the center badge in fair shape. It really needs some paint and cleaning. I'm not to sure what i'm going to do with it as i do like the grills with the marker lights in them. Still i just love coming upon a Maverick part just out of the blue.(y)(y)(y)

Sweet! I went to an all Falcon show/swap and walked away with a couple of Maverick parts due to the part number confusion in 1970:thumbs2:

Very cool! I was at a car show last weekend and a guy in our class with an El Camino walked over and said he had some Maverick parts in the bed for sale. I went over and sure enough he had half the bed covered with NOS fender badges and emblems for all kinds of cars. He claims he got them from car dealerships that have closed down over the years. I got a pair of NOS Maverick emblems for $5.00. Don't what I'm going to do with them, but I couldn't pass them up.

I'll buy one or both. Just got out bid for one on Ebay. I need one good emblem for my fender. The guys keep bugging me to put it back on. Want to find one in better shape than the one I have. Send a pm if you want to sell. Thanx Darren.
