Finally!!!! I got her on the dyno. I was a little dissappointed but I still made the mark. It made 502hp at 6200rpm and 504 ftlbs at 4600rpm. I was hoping for a little more but I guess I will need to bump up the compression for that. Not too bad though for 9.5-1 compression and 91 octane fuel.
What I really liked was the 425 ftlbs at 3500rpm. Should work good. I will hopefully let you all know this weekend what she runs.

Sorry this is soooo late. I am running victor jr's ported and flowed along with a victor jr intake ported and matched to the heads.
Took her to the track yesterday and ran consistent 11.50's. Not too bad for no traction aids besides a set of 9" slicks. She even pulls the drivers tire about 3 inches. Next step caltracs and a trans brake. Still need to jet the carb up a bit too.

I think you'll like the Caltracs. What rpm are you leaving the line at and what stall? Tranny brake should really help. I keep considering the brake but I run right at 12.00 and that's the class limit. I leave at about 2200 rpm so I rarely have any spin.:)

I don't have any videos yet. I will hopefully get some on July11th as this is the next event I will attend. As far as cam specs go......I can tell you it's under 600 lift, mechanical flat tappet, and the duration is around 270 at .050. Other than that it is a custom grind that I am going to keep to myself. ;) for now anyways. Believe it or not I am running a holley 770 street avenger(cause I already had it on my 429 in my truck) and it seems to work awesome. I did the dyno with the 750 quick fuel and it also worked good.

I leave around 2500 for now, it has a 3200 stall convertor but a trans brake is a must to utulize it. I am really interested also in how much of a difference the roll cage will make, cause the subframe connectors just don't seem to keep the car from twisting.

At the flywheel. The shop that dyno'd it figured with a little more compression we could have got 535-540 no problem.

Caltracs and transbrake? If you find parts missing in your engine bay (like the big piece in the middle), it wasn't me.:mischeif:

Yah, she's a natural. I do have 100 shot sitting and waiting for when I get used to the new power. But that could take a bit. It's a little bit of a hand full. I'll see if the cage helps her be a little more predictable.

PURPLE NURPLE.......I STILL NEED A SET OF WHEELS.....YOU WORK ALL DAY DON'T YOU?????? Are you coming out to our drag race july 11? Gotta gang up on that camaro, you know. :yup:;)

You would have to set your beer down to take my wheels off, so I'm not worried.

Density altitude last Friday was around 2862 ft so your time corrects to about 11.22
