Rear Seat Removal

    Would like to replace the seatbelts in my 74 Mav. How do you remove the rear seat?

    kind of a...down-back-up motion to the rear seat bottom (front edge)..there is a hook style bracket on the floor pan.. once you get it from then on it's a piece of cake...:D

    once the bottom is out, there are 2 bolts at the bottom of the back part of the seat. after removing the bolts, slide the seat up out of the brackets at the top...:yup:

    seat removal

    the first rsponse worked well i just used it took about 3 minutes to do.


    NOTE: the bolts hold back rest on rear reats was 3/8.try using deep socket works perfect.
