I just got the back window tinted on the '73 with 5%. Sorry for the bad picture quality. This was taken with my cell phone after it was done. I'll be starting on the other windows soon. Hopefully I'll have more tinted by next month. :bouncy: Opinions? I'll take the comments good and bad. :yup:

Looks like a good job. I used to have that dark before on other vehicles, but ended up not liking it cause it was hard to see out of. But does look really good though.

being in vegas i would think close to that would be the only way to protect the rear seat tops from frying in a day? I hear you on visibility though for backing up in the mornings and at night. i like the tint rando, looks sharp

    First off, looks great.

I drive trucks/vans for work that don't have any rear view mirrors or back view to use a mirror. So I depend on my side mirrors, which see almost everything. Not so with a Maverick. I don't think that I could depend on the tiny little sport mirrors and drive safely. Just me though. It does look great.

Same here, I drive panel vans all the time, and am always a little disappointed everytime I look in the mirrors of my Mavericks, you can't see crap!!
I like the look of tinted windows.

Tinted windows look great and really keep the heat down in the Summer.
I do miss the window tint on sunny days.
The only bad thing is not being able to see out of them at night time when backing up.

Like everyone else said, I love the look but it is definitely a case of function following form. Mine is the same and it is tough backing out of my driveway in the dark. But since I like the look and this is a toy for me its ok. I wouldn't go that dark on a daily driver. Been there and done that. As bad as visibility is at night, its even worst in the rain/snow at night. But as far as looks go, your car will look awesome with rear and sides at 5%.

looks great, but like everyone said visibility is the problem. since these cars have a fastback rear glass and the stock lights barely light up...well mine suck i dont know about every one else lol,i have bobcats w polished lenses and 1157 bulbs iirc.

Looks good and is needed to protect the interior stuff. I use a wink mirror, that helps quite a bit. Of course this is when my car is/was my daily driver and actually running...those were the days :(.
