Well late sunday afternoon I started out my driveway to notice the trailer tonge was setting on the ground and the trailer was moved about 3 feet. now this is a big-tex trailer with a 73 comet loaded on it. well I went inside and reviewed my video security and bang....there the SOB was trying to pry the gorilla lock off....when that didn't work he turned around and backed up to it and lowered it onto his bumper and tied the chains around the bumper and attempted to take off with it......well that didn't work either as he didnt notice the wheel cocks or the wheel lock that was also attached....when he pulled foward he spun and the whole back-end of the truck went down then up in the air as the bumper gave way and the trailer hit the ground. at this point he gave up and drove off. he was there for 5 minutes and not a single neighbor saw anything.... OH and he tried tis with a little ford ranger extended truck. The new paper today has this story....wonder where they got the video http://www.knoxnews.com/news/2009/jun/16/lenoir-city-man-arrested-after-trailers-mowers-sto/ Just a reminder you can never have enough locks on your trailer.
