Sold it last Friday finally! Put a add on the network 54cleaveland forum. A guy from Trnton Mi, bought it.Couldnt get his money out fast enough! LOL. Regards. Al
I would enjoy meeting ya Stefan, and some of ya other guys for sure. Forgot, the "WIFE" has reservations for Niagra falls this weekend. SH-T! FYI everyone, Yellow Bullet has free passes for Saturdays event on the spectator side. Go to their trash or be trashed sub-forum. The "STICKY" for Milan is there. Just print it out. Apparently, Don Bowles tore his yellow Maverick up in a accident at Maple Grove last weekend. I dont know if he will be there to compete in Hot-Street. I hope so.If not, hopefully see him there in August at the NMCA event at Milan. While we are on race events, is anyone planning on FFW at Norwalk in August? Regards. Al
I went yesterday and it never rained although the forecast looked gloomy. Looked up Don Bowles in the pits after his second round loss. He said they finished fixing the car about midnight Thursday and it looked great, as expected. So I'm talking to Don and how good it was to see a Mav in Hot Street, etc. He says "yeah it's bracket car consistent but we're missin two tenths", who walks up, looks at me, then starts talking to Don but Jack Roush Jack started asking and making suggestions on what was needed to get the two tenths back, dyno time, testing, etc so I backed out of the converstation and let them have their privacy.
Yeah, its hard to get back where you was right after a accident, especially after thrashing. But I'm sure Don Bowles will be there again soon.Hopefully I can get to Milan at the August NMCA event. Looking forward to the vintage super-stock class. Did anyone else go to Milan this weekend? Al
