    The car...72 Maverick
    The questions
1.What color is the resistance wire in the ignition circuit???
    Is it Pink?
    Is it pale purple?(Violet)
I know one is for the alt circuit and the other is for the ignition circuit.
    Someone please educate me... :bouncy:

Darn. My diagrams are at home. Also not sure if mine are 73 specific/only. I'll check back here later and see if you got the answer.

My diagrams for a '72 show LG/R (light green, red stripe) for the alternator and R/LG for the ignition.

Possibly Rd/Gn leaving the 'C' term on the ign sw. Then connecting to a Pink wire (resistance) wire.
