I was thinking that maybe the Maverick is really in mint shape and that the rust is really just painted on to make it seem like an old rusted Maverick so no one will mess with it............... ah o.k. maybe not.

You wouldnt have done it though without it having the right combo of parts on it.

If it has all of the parts that you said it does...sounds like a nice deal to me.
I messed around with a couple of Mavericks about 4 years ago. Was going to fix one up for the daughter. Bought disc brake, v8 swap and sport mirror parts for hers. Just bought a 72 a couple of months ago and started looking at the price of parts They have gone ballistic in the couple of years I was away from here. So too me it sounds like a good deal for just fuel and a little cash to buy the car.
