Less than a week to go! I am still waiting to hear back from a few people...hopefully soon! Sooo...who is all going?
Two more days! I'm leaving tomorrow to drive down to Coops place...Ryan if driving down also...can't wait!
This cruse sounds like a lot of fun, wish I could be there but its a long haul from Florida... Maybe a road trip is in order someday...
Maybe I should take a trip to your state. I have one son that lives in Ocala, Fl. The other son lives in Jacksonville, Fl. My parents live in Palmetto,Fl. What the heck am I doing up here?
The group will be here tonight. Tomorrow is the day. Brunch at Denny's 11:30am. Gotta love it, when a plan comes together. Guess I better get the Comet cleaned up.
Do you think? Cliff & Ryan arrived last night. This morning we'll do some adjustments on my carb & Lynn's carb. Then it will be time to caravan to Denny's for brunch. See you all there..... Woohoo!!! Great weather this weekend also... Pics we need pics... Don't forget your camera's....
A success! Great cars, great turn out, and great weather. It was a hit on all cylinders! Oh, and Lynn...you know that we all hate your guts now right? That level of customization just isn't legal in these parts. PS: Thanks to Mike for the eats and Coop for the die cast model...good stuff! (light'en up...so the last pic ain't a Mav/Comet...tee-hee!)
Ditto on the success! Fun was had by all. This year was different as far as colors. Last year almost all blue cars. This year, a nice variety. If you notice the cars at Denny's. They are in order that we couldn't have done if trying. A good showing of Mavericks & Comets. I believe it was 4 each. The cruise went well. With a few overheating problems. So, we parked & shot the bull. The show & shine today went well also. Total of 5 cars (3 Mavericks & 2 Comets). Later in the day a Comerick showed up. We met him last night on the cruise. His name is Mike. So we had 2 yellow cars & both named Mike. Go figure! Here's some pics from Denny's & the cruise yesterday (Sunday)....
