    One more thing

I hate to be a bother you again but , I was looking in my box of new parts and found out that they also included the strut rod washers and bushings and would like to know if you know what size socket needed for that large nut and if it gets torqued or just good and snug fit:huh::hmmm: Thanks Robert

    Sure. :tiphat:

Once you get the caster adjusted with the strut rod - final torque is 60-80 ft lbs.

If your car has struts that have a castle nut and cotter pin - torque to the 60 and then tighten enough to insert the cotter pin. If no castle nut on your strut - just hit 65-70 and that is good.

As for the socket size - I don't recall what it is exactly but it is an old ball size - one of the 32nd of an inch ones - not a common size found in most simple sets - if I remember right.

    I've had a few
    Same here. :yup:

That strut rod nut is pretty big. I don't remember what size it is either, but I do remember I had to go buy a big socket just for that. I just measured it with dial calipers and then went down to Auto Zone and got one. Have no idea where that socket is right now, or else I'd go look at it and see.
