Hey, I just wanted to introduce myself. I am a newby to Maverick ownership and am looking to learn as much as I can. I have been a Mustang girl for a long time but wanted something new. I just bought a 1970 Grabber Orange Maverick to be my new fun show car. I look forward to meeting many of you.
    Terri:)

    :Welcome: from Northeast Pennsylvania

Are you close to Tacoma? When I visited relatives there in 2005, I saw a lot of older rust free cars traveling up and down Route 5.

Thanks for the welcome. As soon as I figure out how to post a pic I will. The Car was on ebay for a while, I got it off Craigs list--- its in great shape-- of course I am going to do a few little mods of my own-- I cant leave things alone. School in snohomish? Snohomish High? My son goes there. I'll be at a lot of shows--- been doing the mustang circuit so now I have to figure out the new hang outs.

Cool.. his name is Matt Brigham ( he's a 9th grader) ... I see youre switching to a 302. I want to do that conversion too.. Are you going to take out the shock towers and do all that or just squeeze the 302 in? I think my first mod is going to be getting rid of the drum brakes-- way too hard to get the thing stopped-- Id be afraid to take it to the track for fear of ending up in the sand pit. Good luck with the 302... let me know how it goes. My best friend is doing the Cruise to Colby-- look for him--- bright orange 2008 mustang with body kit-- its a great car. I'll look for you at the shows..

oh i dont know him, i'm a sophmore by the way

i just squeezed the motor in. its pretty tight but theres still room to get to the plugs (y) you should bring the mav to the Cruise. theres gonna be about 9 or 10 mav's and comets up there. :yup:
