Anyone using a fuel cell??

    If so, how did you mount it up and what size did you use and are there any issues to know about?? Any pics of your installed fuel cell would be great!!

    70 mav, 71 grabber, 73 Comet, 2004 f-250 crew cab diesel, 2001 f-250, 2004 explorer, 2007 Gold Wing trike.
    I use one but it's only a 5 gallon. I use the mounting kit from Summit. I cut across where the fuel neck goes under the trunk and pushed that part down. My fuel lines go out the hole to the electric fuel pump. I would never again get the cell with foam in it. Eventually it will disolve and get into the fuel lines.:)

    heres mine. the cell has 4 tabs welded along the botom of it that bolt to the floor. its a 15 gallon cell. i had to cut the hump out of the floor and even trim the back edge of the trunk floor where it curves up to get the cell to sit flat on the floor.

    Thanks for the pic Bryant!! Any idea of what size that is?? Maybe something a bit smaller would fit better?? I've been looking at one on Craigslist this week but wasn't sure if it would fit or work with our cars. The guy is supposed to e-mail the dimensions but I haven't heard back from him yet.
