Has anyone used these on a maverick yet and if so what is your opinion. Mine will be getting a dual exhaust put on in the next month or so. The motor is basically stock and has longtube headers. I want the pipes to run out the back. I hav listened to videos on youtube of them and they sounded good to me

Are those the oval ones or the old style round ones?
If they are making the old round ones again I'll go and buy some.
Anybody remember those? I think the set I put on my 71 F100 were bought around 1980. Best sounding mufflers I have ever had on that old truck. They were flat on the ends with a bead running around the ends not like the glass-pacs are today. I would love to have an old set of them things.
I went onto Evilbay and found the old style Thrush mufflers I was talking about. Man what a blast from the past. These things always sounded the best. I know sounded isn't a word but it works. lol
