It was this past Friday night, I just got back to the house from a cruise in with my Ranchero. I got a little excited with all of the loud engines and hot rods rolling around I couldn't help myself but to hop in the maverick and do some donuts in the back yard:drive:(no tags yet). All was well, on the first go around in 1st then on the second trip around I nailed it and shifted into 2nd. Boy we havin sum fun now! :bouncy:That was until i went over a slight knoll in the back yard, I was going so fast that the tires left the ground! The saying is what goes up must come down, well the rear did and the right rear tire dug in enough to stop the sideways movement. The sudden stop transferred into the left side leaving the ground! That turned into a Dukes of Hazard scene without the horn! After the car slammed back down, the untied down battery decide to fall on top of the rotating alternator that proceeded to cut a hole into the side of it. So now i am sliding back over to the drivers side with some kind of smoke burning my eyes! I pulled the battery out and washed under the hood very well. So i have learned my lesson, yeah right! I go off roading and rock crawling all the time, I even flipped my rig several times but I would have never thought the Mav would catch like it did. Wow that was a ride! Just thought I would share a Stupid moment with you guys.

I wish I had pics! That's what sad, I did this with no one looking! I have no witnesses, all I have is half of the rear tire and rim stuffed with dirt and grass and a torn up back yard :D. Ohh I also have the once good Battery with the gash in the side of it!:(

    Yup! That'd do.

Of course, you could fake it. lol But if you want to tear up a good battery and a rim/tire to prove your point, go ahead. lol :dancing:

Glad you had fun with the maverick, might be a bit safer next time however
