I won camping lamp "It was a boy scout event." for taking 5th place! "Well I tied with a 65 GTO." But still! :D
I was kinda shocked really. Every car show I have been to I haven't won anything. Just take the car to show because you never see Mavericks anymore.
There was about 70 cars there, all really nice looking cars. A lot of Camaro's, 2 Chevelles, 2 really awsome Torino's with 429s, no Mustangs for some odd reason, and more chevys.
First place was the 66 Chevelle pro street. I knew I should have taken my 66 Chevelle! lol.... :biglaugh:
I didn't have a camera or I would have posted pics also. Next time I will, It was a last minute thing to go, so I forgot to take my camera.
Its funny what people talk about when around your car. They can relate to it somehow, saying that they had a friend that owned one, or some type of story. One guy told me how he and his friend ran a Maverick into a dumpster and the dumpster landed on the roof! lol...
But around the chevy cars it is all more serious like how much horse is it, or how fast does it go.
    Just thought I would share.

The fact there were no Mustangs there makes it a good show, there are too many around and don't get me wrong i DO like Mustangs. Congratulations on the 5th place it's all good.(y)

Ya was a good time. A lot of friendly people there.
I don't like the car shows with professional judging. It kinda takes the fun out of it.

I hate the fact that somebody cares if the rearend has 1 yellow line and two white ones in just the right place.....It does not make the car look better to the eye and since it is a car "SHOW" after all.....:naughty:

    Whopdidedo!!!!!!

Then again I say if it makes you happy....:tiphat: then do it that way I will just sit back and laugh....:biglaugh:

I guess if we all thought the same and did the same,it wouldn't be much of a car show.To each his own.
