Hi every one, my driver side sport mirror knob is broken and wanted to replace if possible? does any one know where to get a new one and how hard is to replace? Thanks for any infor.

Fixed it!! Just to let you know that the thread you gave really helped me out in getting the broken knob out. the one fellow from sweeden I believe was right on the money, All I did was to use a small drill bit and it bottom out the use the matching easyout and the broken piece popped right out. mine was not threaded but, pressed in and I just bought a new knob of e-bay for about $10.00 thats for a mustang and it has threads, so I will have to tapp the hole, i suppose. The metal in the base looks kinda like pot metal, do anyone thinks its a bad idea to tap? or should I grind the threads off the new one and glue it in? up for options.
