302 heads on 351w block

Bolting my heads on and noticed not all of the water ports line up between the block and heads. I can post pictures if needed. Can I still use the heads?

The block is a 79 351w block stroked to 408. The heads are '75 302 heads.

the head bolts on a 302 are 7/16s on a 351 they are 1/2. you will need to drill out the head bolt holes also. the only holes that mater are the ones at the back of the motor. check the head gasket holes with the holes in the back of the block and then with the heads. if the passages overlap then go for it.

 

K heads are already drilled out. So the two at the back are the only ones that matter? They line up.

Those are awfully small heads for a 408... They were too small (ports, runners, valves) for the 302/351 much less a stroker.
