accell vs. msd coil

    1972 Maverick 351w swap, 1965 Mustang 355 glide, 1993 civic daily driver
    which would work better on a mild 302 with duraspark ignition. The choices are the accell super stock and the msd blaster 2

    either will work fine on your duraspark I run a msd painted to look like an accell on my truck

    i prefer msd i ran an accell on my 93 mustang and had problems with it the msd couldn't be happier

    Most MSD stuff is overkill on a stock to mild motor.

    I'm running the blaster II simply because it's got a post type connector and I'm running the EFI large post cap. Works for me.

    My cousin had an MSD burn out on his '94 Mustang GT recently. Flat out left him stranded in the middle of nowhere. I've been running one on my '72 for a few years now with no problems, though.

    Cant really say that either because Accell and Mallory are both owned by mr gasket co. and Mallory are red......:cool: LOL I was going to say you could go for blue and get a Jacobs ignition but that is Mr Gasket too.
