factory floor shifter and headers

    1972 Maverick 351w swap, 1965 Mustang 355 glide, 1993 civic daily driver
    I have a 302 with hooker 6901's on my maverick. I have a floor shifter out of a 74 grabber. I am wondering if it will work with the headers. I spent my shifter money on roller rockers and parts for the duraspark convrsion

    It was a long time ago, But i put headers (6901s) on mine. The best i remember the only thing that wouldn't work was the rod that went back to the steering column to lock the key switch.

    Well, you dont need it as long as you secure the shifting arm at the base of the steering column in the park position.
