Exhaust time, heres what we have, a pair of 2-1/2" in and out flowmaster mufflers. Whats your thoughts on tube size? We picked these up for cheap and hope we can use them. Do you think 2-1/2" is to big for 30 over, alum/4 barrel, headers, stock cam?

YUP! Perfect! You will love the way it sounds.

What is the configuration of the inlet and outlet (center, offset, etc)?

I used offset inlet and center outlet for this...

For now, I take the exhaust off too often and like to be able to do it one side at a time.

When I am done, I will probably lose the flanges at the header/pipe junction and have them welded up, then put in an H or X. Then the entire exhaust will be semi permanent and will not be able to be removed.

For now, it is nice to be able to drop one entire side and work on stuff.

We built a set the other day and put a slip joint in the H pipe, They can still be removed one pipe at a time.
