Is this a Maverick V8 Throttle Cable?

    I picked this up a while back and went to install it today. Guess what? The end that attaches to the throttle pedal is different than the I6 one (I6 had a loop) and the Firewall bracket has two holes instead of one. If this is the wrong one ... Anyone have the right one for sale? Need ASAP ...

    It is definitely the V8 Length. Will a late model pedal work with this then? I have a 1971 Pedal.

    That looks like the right cable to me. I replaced the pedal in my 71 (the loop had come off the cable) with a pedal from an early Fairmont I believe it was.

    I just took a cable off a 71 comet and it had the loop in it with a pin thru it. Must be a newer car thing. I already sold the cable though Sorry.
