    Hi im looking for help.A friend of mine has had this 77 maverick for 10 years.Ive tried to tell him dont sink your money into a rotton car its like a cheese grater underneath everywhere.he is into it for 12 grand now.:huh: Ive junked better cars.Im a bodyman painter and I wish to help him.Im not going to do a full restoration just want to make it safe and be able to pass inspection if needed be.Can u buy floor pans?All the e brake cables to .IS there any other model of car that the parts are the same?IT doesnt work all seized.Thats the First thing the police get u to do in a road block with a old rusty car.The front uniframe that runs under the firewall is toast.IM wondering if I killed all the rust reenforced it from inside and fiberglass resin and cloth everything really thick:hmmm: .My friend understands now he be happy if he got a few more years out of it.Thanks for letting me post here I dont like surfing for parts so I thought this might help.He loves it he has little modles and things.he would be here if his pc was hooked up ill show him this site.mic

    No there are no floor pans to buy... If i were him i would take out every good part he has put into it and buy a 500-1000 rust fee car and be done with it and have a 13,000 car that looks awesome!!!!!!!

    Where abouts in canada are you guys located? If he really likes these cars then it would be worth to do as mentioned before and pick up a clean shell and transfer over all his good parts.He may end up sinking in a few more bucks into the project but at least he will have a nice ,safe car he can enjoy for many years.
