why does this sport wheel look funny?

    The padding seems thicker than the others I have seen. It just looks a little strange to me.

    That's a leather (vinyl?) wrapped one. I think it was a factory option. Most are foam, the stitching is just simulated.

    If you could see the back of the wheel it probably has finger grip slots in it, and the wrap on it is real leather not vinyl. I have the same wheel on both of my Mavericks

    Agree! I have the leather wheel too ... they are much nicer.

    Thanks. We will see if I am lucky when my wife finds out I bought it. :D I thought even the leather ones I had seen pics of had thinner rims than that, maybe I am crazy.
