Speedo Gear

    Hey guy's im so so so clocse to have'n my car ont the road and legal lol,but i need a speedo gear cause i dont have one,

    run down on my set up...

    302,c4,8" rear with 2:79 or 3:00 dont know(stock) and the wheels and tires are- 225-60-14 i think not totaly sure will have to look tommorrow.

    Can Anyone give me a general idea about which gear i need?

    With out precise info...including rear tire height IE: 28" tall. All that can be said is "you need one if you dont have one"

    Well whats the stock gear like a 18 or what?

    Original 72 Sprint Owner, 71 Comet GT, 57 Ranchwagon, 57 4 dr Wagon
    Given the numbers you posted, if you have a 3.00 you will need a 17 tooth gear, part number C7SZ-A-17271. If you have the 2:89, you will need a 16 tooth gear part number D0AZ-A-17271. You should still be able to get them from Ford.
