I a'm going to install relays on my head light . The wiring diagrham I have seen is to run new wires to both lights ?? Is this needed or can I use the factory wiring and splice in the relay wiring . Just thought I would ask Jay p.s. there is no problem with my wiring
http://www.ford-trucks.com/article/idx/0/039/article/Whiter_Whites_Brighter_Brights.html i have been thinking about the same thing aswell...along with the low-hi bypass if it's possible with our cars (i dont see why it wouldn't be) if you haven't seen this article i hope it helps
the idea of the realy with new wireing is that the old wires develope a resistance over time. the new wires give you the brightest light possible. dont wire it so the brights and regular lights stay on at the same time. they will get to hot and burn out pretty fast.
I a'm going to due some voltage . testing later today to see what the voltage drop is between the two light is then I will make up my mind it I will rewire or not . JAY
