will these hedman hedders fit?

    Yes....I had them on one of my cars. One of these days I will post some pictures. It was a factory 302 car, with a column shift Automatic, power steering, and factory AC for what it is worth. Fit fine.....no problems when installed as is. I did decide to have the outlets cut off and rewelded on at a slight angle to help clear the steering and firewall.

    do you have to cut them or they will fit fine as is?

    They will only fit if you mount them upside down!

    And those are the heddman 88400 which say they fit 70 to 73 mustang right those are the ones you used

    I have a set of these headers on a 69 1/2 with v8 that I bought and yes it is a tight fit on drivers side. I will sale them for $100.00 plus shipping. I dont have the collectors but I imagine you can buy them from Hedman. They are new and motor has never been fired. I will include the header bolts and header gasket.

    Yes...I believe so. Slept since then. I know it was the shortie headers they offered for Mustangs, Falcons, etc.

    Somebody here was working on a set of Maverick specific shorty headers.....may have been Doug Thorleys?:hmmm: Memory is fuzzy now, but I remember reading about them a while back....
