I saw someone on this site talking about the ford mustang 302 super shorty's hedman product number 88400 that they fit and bolt up perfect is this trus i believe it was craig selvey that said he put them on. here is the post http://mmb.maverick.to/showthread.php?t=52999&highlight=headers
Yes....I had them on one of my cars. One of these days I will post some pictures. It was a factory 302 car, with a column shift Automatic, power steering, and factory AC for what it is worth. Fit fine.....no problems when installed as is. I did decide to have the outlets cut off and rewelded on at a slight angle to help clear the steering and firewall.
And those are the heddman 88400 which say they fit 70 to 73 mustang right those are the ones you used
I have a set of these headers on a 69 1/2 with v8 that I bought and yes it is a tight fit on drivers side. I will sale them for $100.00 plus shipping. I dont have the collectors but I imagine you can buy them from Hedman. They are new and motor has never been fired. I will include the header bolts and header gasket. Mike
Yes...I believe so. Slept since then. I know it was the shortie headers they offered for Mustangs, Falcons, etc.
Somebody here was working on a set of Maverick specific shorty headers.....may have been Doug Thorleys? Memory is fuzzy now, but I remember reading about them a while back....
