I had to grind part of the front edge of the opening to get the cable to lign up straight when I installed my Megashifter. I also welded it down cause it felt a little wiggly. Have fun! :Handshake

Yep definitely a great site. I just joined in Jan and its been a big help. Even though I owned a few Mavs and work in the trade I still get a ton of info off this board and its members. Lots of Mav and Comet experience on here. Good bunch of people. All different levels of ability on here yet nobody makes anyone look stupid. Even the most basic questions get answered without ignorance. I'm sure I'll be in need of some help when I start driving the car soon and find all the faults in this old thing. :hmmm:

Every time I check in here, I am compelled to click on at least ONE of the random imnages at the top of the screen... then the next... then the next... and another hour goes by. Lots of ideas, lots of great looking cars in various stages of rest-mods...

Hey Darren... I see that HOLE in you hood... and I love the look of your wheels... (steel rims and poverty caps)... do you have a bigger pic than your avatar of the underside of the hood? And what size are the rear wheels.

Sure looks like ONTARIO in that picture...
