Coming up on Thursday i'm about to have for me personally a very big thrill. For the first time ever my Comet will be on display at a indoor show, the Daydreamer will also be there with his Maverick. The show is called the Performance World Custom Car Show. Now i know that it's not that much of a big thing but i have been going to this show every year as far back as when i was a kid in grade nine (1981 with my buddy Mark Young). Every Winter i would nearly die having to wait for this show to come around as it is my favorite car show. We will be there as the Northern Maverick Comet Club complete with the NMCC banner hanging above the cars that's if there is a place to hang it as you can't stick it to the wall. I'll be taking a bunch of pictures and enjoying having my car at one of my childhood favorite custom car shows.(y):bouncy::D:yahoo:

Performance World used to be a automotive performance store down here. Are they still open up there or is it something else?

Wow, that'll be loads of fun for you, nothing like your first indoor show!! 30+ hours of standing around talking to people, I do 2 home shows a year, plus indoor shows with other cars I've worked on.
We were just talking about that same show yesterday at coffee. Some of the local Ford guys are going.

Yeah the Performance World name is the car show name, the only other name i know of up here is the chain of stores called Performance Improvements, now maybe they changed their name at one time or another or the store your asking about went out of business. Not too sure to be honest.:hmmm::huh:

:tiphat:Be great to meet you. I'm not sure where we will be in the 5 or so buildings but we should be pretty easy to find as the layout of the place is rather good. Just look for the green '72 Maverick (Daydreamer) and my purple '76 Comet and our NMCC flyer hanging above the cars. I will be hanging around where the cars are off and on as i like to look around at the other cars too. I would think Ron (Daydreamer) will spend most of his time where the cars are so your bound to see one or both of us there. I'll be there Saturday and all day Sunday. Hope to see you.(y):D

I was suppose to go but family obligations have set me back a bit plus the car has been sitting outside all winter and is filthy.
