Have a new booster, master, and bracket sitting in my dining room. I have a 71 comet ive been frankensteining for several years now and im so close to getting it on the road. Id like to put power brakes on it before i do tho. I found a thread that showed a picture of the hole that needs to be put in the firewall to allow the power brake pedal rod thro into the passenger compartment.... problem is that i dont have the proper pedal assy apparently. what pedal assy can i get to fit my needs (interchange) and where can i get one (ya got one). thanks for your time... sorry if im not putting this in the right place... having trouble navigating forum :(

i just bought a power disk brake kit for my 73 mavey off of a 77 model. the person who sold me the whole kit has a rod that are still with the booster, i will post pictures of how they look when i get them on my project section... perhaps that should help ya out.

or better buy a used booster from a donor car with the rod still on it...

You need a brake pedal from a power brake equipped Mav/Comet.The ratio/travel is different than a non power set up.You may be able to relocate the rod mount hole on your exhisting pedal if... you can get the correct measurement for the holes location on the pedal.I believe 75? and up Mavs/Comets had power brakes.
