My dad is always talking about this quick silver shifter, and it sounds sick! but is it really that cool? My dad has a bias on everything and only sees things one way or no way.

I had a Quick Silver in my old Duster and really liked it. It worked great with a reverse manual valve body. The shifter is well worth the money though.

Just picked up one today. This will be the third one I've had. I personally like them a lot. Look on Craigslist to find one. I just got mine in very good condition (used) for $50.00.

Two 1973 LDO Mavericks (one 4 Drag one 4 driving like Mad on the roads :) ) also have a 75 6cyl Stock! Ok, well sort of Stock :P
personally i like the star shifter from B&M. my dad and my co worker has the quicksliver i was never a fan of how you had you pull up to get it in park. plus to downshift you had to do the 2 then 1 shift rather then just band that sucker from D right to 1st gear! no a good shifter for a gunning it on a roll! ;)
