summitt street strip carb

Is any one using one of these? It looks like they morphed a Holley 4160 with edelbrock fuel bowls.I looking to replace my 6919holley.

I am fairly certain that Holley used to sell that carb as a model 4010 / 4011. Probably brought it back under the Summit Brand to generate some cash.

 

although i shop through summit a lot, every time i have bought a summit branded item i have been disappointed. my suggestion is pay more for "name brand" on your carb.

I have seen an older Holley carb like that myself. Don't remember the list number but I remember the complete top coming off like an Edelbrock carb.
If I remember right it might have been a 3 barrel but might not have been. I have seen a Holley 3 barrel though. The secondary was one open barrel. Kind of weird and neat at the same time

It looks like an old Motorcraft carb to me, I at one time had one but never did run it.

 

Look at the choke tower, all Holley if you ask me.

Those Summit carbs are just like the old Holley 4010 like mentioned before.Holley finally washed their hands of them when they became more of a headache then they were worth.
You have to watch Summit brand parts most are Chineese knock offs of the real thing.
