this is on a bigger bumper car but it shows what i'm talking about.
its the gray part that actually tucks just a little ways into the bumper :)

I think I have that piece for a small bumper front. It's steel. I thought he was talking about the rear tho...

Alright shouldnt be a prob. already thinking of a way to rig it up cause i ahve the big ones left over i can cut down, think it would work?
Back to the back lol, Is it supose to hang over the edge?
and i also had the problem of bolting it up, do i have to put the bracket on then mount the bumper?

The rear is the same I think. It will have a slight gap between the body and the bumper. Maybe look at some pics real close before you give up, unless the other guy had something different to start with.

if its too wide then you dont have mav/comet bumpers but if it seems like it just sits away from the tail panel then you can tuck it in with different small peices below the quarter extensions. my bumper has been tucked towards the body :)

Can you see to the ground when looking down the gap between the body and the bumper? There is a lip on the body that just barely goes into the bumper (but it does not touch) if I remember.

I couldnt bolt it up cause i ran into the problem of having to take the brackets off and figured it was just the wrong one. but tomorrow im ganna dig into it, i got really disapointed but now im excited again thinking it will work out!
but the bumpers throug the years never changed? so this bumper weither its a 70-73 should fit on a 74-77 model?
