Cowl Vent Nomore!!!!

    Hopefully I have the water leaks fixed. I am attaching a pict of the cowl vent panel. I also installed orings around the wiper shafts, then used Plumber Goop to seal between the orings and the stationary shaft. After the Goop set up I used a small exato knife to cut the goop away from the movable wiper arm mounts.

    I used the gray paint only as a protectant until it goes to the paint shop.
    As all of you know primer is not waterproof.

    I used fiberglass cloth and sealed it then used the bondo with fiber in it ti get a smooth surface.

    Water will still run down the backside of the windshield trim and get inside the cowl. Thats what it is designed to do.
