Well folks droped race engine #1 into Blue Thunder today gotter all bolted up to the Tranny and to the motor mounts ,i figure 4 to 6 more hrs and the nitros and everything else to make it run will be done ,ready to fire it up . So i said i would get 500 hp out of a 347 stroker and with a few ajustment i will . So my next prediction is 11:10 to 11:20 ,maybe lower on pump gas in the quarter mile . So now your all going to just have yo wait for my track to open up to see if im right again :rofl2:,stay tuned folks ,lol cheers Jimmy:dance:

I think you can expect better times than what you are looking at. Did you get a roll bar in the car yet?

Yellow75 ,she has always had a 8 point cage in it, it is street legal but barely,i wouldnt drive it more than 30 mile ,point a to point b on the street. Its 75% race car ,25 % street car. Im building the 69.5 5 speed for a little more street friendly car.

And all *I* managed to do this winter was a lousy TUNE-UP...

    Gosh, you're a little busy bee aren'cha???

With that stable of project cars you've picked up and what looks like promising progress on the stroker you've had a pretty productive WINTER... looks like the car will be ready for SPRING... and I hope the SPRINGS can take all that POWER...

I know... you're just all excited about going to PINKS and you - understandably - want to make a good show.

Motor looks awesome... can't wait to 'hear it'.... :burnout:

I thought it had but could not remember from when I looked at the car. I know it should have had one from the times it used to turn. (y)
