Just thinking about things fro my car and wanted to know how much power it would take to run lets say a 12:50?

The cars weight i have no clue on,but i replaced the gas tank with a 12 gal poly cell, replaced the seats with poly buckets, and no back seat.

It will have a 302 c4 and an 8" rear with 4:11's and a mini spool slapper bars and a drag radial.

    Thanks for any info.

I`d say right around 310 at the rear wheels.

Ok that should be doable with a nice little Iron GT40 headed 302,and then 150 shot lol.

What do you think for mid-10's, 425 at the rear wheels? considering the car weighs around 2500-2800 lb's

I'd say over 500hp to break into the 10s.

There are some variables such as how high above sea level the track is ,suspension efficiency ,traction... ect.

The calculator I posted has been very accurate for every car I have checked out with it.
