I bought a chrome valve cover that was supposed to fit my 200 I6. When I got it, it obviously is not the correct one. I want to sell it, as it's doing me no good, but I would prefer to list it correctly. How would I go about identifying it? Here's a pic. Thanks - Rhonda

It's sitting at an angle in the pic. Maybe a slant 6?

I have a 1976 Maverick Stallion, and 85 More Mavericks and Comets in Inventory.
That looks like a early to Mid 60's straight 6 Ford Valve cover,

    It's not a slant 6.
I lean towards 240/300/4.9 Ford... but I am far from certain.

Sorry Seth, I just saw your wink... ;)
I thought you were serious. :D

I thought about taking it to an auto parts store to see if someone could identify it for sure. (maybe match up gaskets?) I bought it from an ad that stated "we were told it was a Ford 200/250 I6" I took a chance, & don't fault the seller at all. I just thought it would be better to know, so it could be listed correctly. Here's another pic. Hard to photograph chrome, it just reflects everything. :camera:
