go around the torque pateren over and over again untill the bolts stop turning at 18 ft/lbs. it usually takes about 5 times before it complety seats down.
Agreed. I once showed a "master tech" that it needed that "go around" a few times on some rear alignment shims. Not the same part but...
Yep. If I am not mistaken, the Edelbrock heads are fully helicoiled too, so 18 ft-lbs should be plenty safe.
