Im not sure what to call the lights behind your display on your dash, but there very very dim and i turned them up all the way and you can barley see anything... is there anything i can do to brighten them up?
It might also help to replace your lens if it's a little foggy which is very common. You can get a new one from the Mustang vendors. Here's the replacement if you wanna check it out. http://www.mustangsunlimited.com/itemdy00.asp?T1=90887A+01 You'll only need the center lens.
The 2825 is the brightest standard type bulb that I am aware of. A number of people on the board have used the 2825 bulbs and it makes a big difference. I believe the 194 is 2 candlepower and the 2825 is 5 candlepower. There are possibly some LED lamps that may be brighter but you will need to research and experiment on those.
thats funny just did this to mine last week used 2825 bulbs but i went a step further i took all the gauges out of the case and spray painted it white now it looks reall good any of the light blue paint it white..............you will love the difference.........
Haha....I went to wal-mart, bouth 2 LED light strips for 10 dollars, shoved them behind the gauges and wired them into the headlight switch...works surprisingly well
