They should've had everything straightened out on the car before you got it back. There are always going to be problems with an engine swap or any other major modification. You should've been told about this before the job was started. Sometimes you have to spend more money before everything is as it should be. Unfortunately, that's just something that comes with the game. Keep us updated!
I just got back from his shop. He inspected the wiring and the compressor just wasn't engaging, the wiring was a bit loose so that's now fixed and the AC is ice cold! Then we inspected the drive train and the drive shaft was stock and in perfect confition. The flywheel is probably the culprit. He got a used one so he's gonna install a new one for me but he said it'll take him a half day.
That was my first thought when I looked at the pics too. Also, if you don't already have them, I'd definitely recommend putting an oil pressure and temperature gauge in the car as well. Cheap insurance. Looks like he did a nice job.
Looks like he left the 6-cylinder radiator in there ... see how the hoses are too big and he clamped them down? And like others said .. you need a fan shroud ... is that the correct V8 fan?
the fan looks a little small. I'll ask him if it's the original or a V8 fan. As for the shroud I'll start looking into getting one. Thanks for the advice. He thinks the flexplate needs to be replaced which he thinks will correct the vibration.
