Hi All. I recieved an e-mail from one of our Maverick brethren who I'm guessing lives in Brasil. The problem? I have no idea how to read the message! I scanned the e-mail and it is virus free. He (or she) also sent along a picture of what I think is thier Brasilian made Maverick. The message is: Ola, my name is Mieres Aloysio, techo 22 anos gostaria de saber se consegue pecas para meu maverick pois aqui no BRASIL esta` dificil de conseguir, teria como ver para mim algumas pecas? Can any one translate this message? ( Damn, I wish they taught Spanish when I was still in school!) Thanks.

I dont speak the language but

the language is Portuguese, I translated it through one of the online sites:

    http://www.worldlingo.com/products_services/worldlingo_translator.html

and came up with this, it loses something in there, but I can tell someone is looking for something dealing with a maverick that is hard to find in Brazil:

Dont know what a "pecas" is but it translated to "you sin".
In spanish a "pecas" translated to "freckles"

Ola, my name is Mieres Aloysio, techo 22 years would like to know if esta` obtains sins for mine maverick therefore in dificil BRAZIL to obtain here, it would have as to see for me some you sin?

    Hope this helps

    Glen

Ok Jean, I'm gonna take a crack at this... Brazillian Spanish is more similar to Portugese...

Hi, my name is Mieres Aloysio, I'm 22 years old and would like to know about obtaining signs [I think he means emblems] for my Maverick they are dificult to obtain here in BRAZIL , would you have some for me to see?

Anybody else is welcome to correct me, best I could do!

    Sam :)

If indeed the owner is looking for the rear FORD emblems, I really don't know what to tell him. As we all know, the Brazilian made Mavericks are bit different from ours, and from the picture he sent there is an emblem missing on the rear of the car. I don't even know if the letters would interchange with anything here in the states. They kind of remind me of the tall emblems the 1970 Mustang Mach 1's had, but I'm pretty sure they are not the same. I would post the entire picture, but I don't want to do that without the owners permission.

uhhhh my buddy said the guy is looking for parts for his maverick...he wasn't specific on what parts. my buddy asked if it was the missing letter or any other parts. then of course i got home and realised this guy isn't on the board so jean maybe cut/paste that portugese posting of mine into a reply to him? my buddy will continue to translate.
