    Hiya folks,

I am Kevin, I live in Australia, researching Non US Ford VINs.

While trolling this forum, I have only found 2 VIN numbers, both cars were (I think) 2dr I-6 cars, their VIN body code is 91.

I must assume that, as in Australia, 2 dr and 4 dr bodies had differnt body type codes.

The only one I can find in here is the 91, as in AF91LSxxxxxx.

Can anyone help with rarer Mav VIN body codes?

    Got some, yeah....

Dave just hit me with some new numbers,

    Maverick 91 is 2-Dr, 92 is 4-DR, 93 is Grabber
    Comet 31 is 2-Dr, 30 is 4-Dr.

I knew about 91, but not the others.

So, I have the new question.

We never got Comets in Australia. I don't know much about them, were these cars ever CKD and assembled in Mexico or any other Sth American countries?

Maybe I should post a list of the Central and South American Ford VIN body style codes I do have and ask for the missing spots.

    What do you think?

I have never seen a Maverick VIN that looked like that.
